ClubWPT Offering Prime Passport Online for US-based Poker Players

ClubWPT is a sweepstakes brand offering online poker gaming in the United States. Connected to the World Poker Tour, site members can take advantage of special promotions to win seats at live events in the US and abroad. The site is finishing a special Prime Passport Palooza series where players compete for seats in the WPT Prime Championship in Las Vegas. More options are to come in the future, so US-based poker players can have a shot at competing in the best events in the poker industry.

What is Prime Passport Palooza?

Starting in March, ClubWPT began the Prime Passport Palooza. Online poker players could compete in satellites through July, with two running each month. Each satellite awarded ten seats to the 100-player field qualifier in August.

The top 20 of the qualifier will then earn a $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport. The passport is connected to the WPT Prime Championship at the Wynn Las Vegas in Nevada. Players can compete in the Main Event beginning on December 7.

The top 20 receive the $2,500 package, which includes the buy-in to the event valued at $1,100. A complimentary hotel stay at the Wynn Las Vegas and $1,000 in travel cash are also included. The remaining players who finish 21st to 100th place in the qualifier will split $10,000 in cash. Prizes will be based on the finish position.

The WPT Prime Championship is a televised event and one of three primaries from late November through December. Players will also attend to compete in the WPT Ladies Championship at Wynn Las Vegas and the WPT World Championship. Major players in the poker world should be in attendance for each of these WPT events.

$12,500 WPT World Championship Passport

ClubWPT also hosted a special World Championship Passport event to give players a chance to vie for a seat a the World Championship event at the Wynn Las Vegas. A series of satellites took place in June, with 20-40 seats provided to the limited 400-person qualifier on July 30. The top finisher of the qualifier earned a $12,500 WPT World Championship Passport to the event. The remaining final table finishers split $500 in cash prizes.

The winner earned a $10,400 buy-in for the event, a hotel stay at the Wynn Las Vegas, and $1,000 for travel needs. A ClubWPT VIP host and a meet and greet with WPT pros are also included.
