Palms Las Vegas Hotel Review

The Palms Casino and Resort is just a short walk from the Las Vegas strip (about 0.8 miles to be precise). Despite not being right on the strip, it’s a very popular and modern resort that is often compared to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Many of its guests are young people and some celebrities have been known to stay there as well.

As well as having over 600 rooms and suites to accommodate guests, partygoers will enjoy several nightlife venues including busy clubs. There’s also a large casino (measuring about 95,000 sq ft), a theater, a recording studio and plenty of food options. The Two Storey Sky Villa on the top floor has gained fame worldwide after CNN published an article placing it among the most expensive hotel suites in the world with a nightly rate of over $35,000. The good news is that there are plenty of not-so-expensive options for those who don’t have a daily budget in the tens of thousands.

The Room & Suite Selection

The rooms at The Palms are split across three separate towers: Palms Place, Palms Fantasy Tower and Palms Ivory Tower. Each tower offers different rooms and amenities. Palms Place is removed from the casino to give you extra rest and relaxation. Palms Fantasy Tower is the best of the best, with some of the most creative and luxurious suites to be found in Vegas. And the Palms Ivory Tower is very hip, thanks to remodelling by Klai Juba. Expect to pay about $50 or more per night for a basic room at The Palms, depending on the season and day of the week.
