Eldorado Resorts is holding a job fair on Wednesday, Feb. 26, to fill more than 100 openings at The Row, the company’s new branding for their three downtown hotel-casinos: Silver Legacy, Circus Circus and Eldorado.
”As we get ready to enter our busy season, we want to ensure we are not only properly staffed in all of our departments, but that all of our team members have enough time to be trained on The Row’s signature family-style service,” spokeswoman Sara Robbins told the Reno Gazette Journal on Monday.
The job fair will be held for eight hours, between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Row Will Be on Par With Las Vegas Mega-Resorts
The Row is Eldorado’s rebranding of downtown’s tri-properties into one mega-resort, known as The Row. The combining of the three properties will put The Row on equal footing with mega-resorts in places like Las Vegas.
“When you put the Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus together, you have a mega-resort that’s just like what you would find in Las Vegas with 25 restaurants, 22 bars, 11 night spots, four entertainment venues and 4,100 rooms all in the heart of downtown Reno,” said Gary Carano, executive chairman of the board of directors for Eldorado resorts.
It’s a mega-resort that competes with any casino around the country and believe me, we know the casinos around the country now.”
Key Developments for Eldorado Resorts Properties
Most notably, Eldorado Resorts is awaiting finalization of its $17.3 billion merger with Caesars Entertainment, which still requires approval from various agencies.
As far as developments go for the actual properties, Circus Circus Reno plans to change their west tower back into rooms for hotel use. Currently, the tower was used for dorm lodging in a $21.6 million deal with the University of Nevada, Reno, which expires on May 16.
With Caesars announcing the sale of Harrah’s Reno to CAI investment, the job security of Harrah’s Reno employees is on the fringe. Eldorado’s spokeswoman, Robbins, says that current Harrah’s employees are encouraged to apply for the Row’s open positions at the job fair this week.
Here’s a look at the various positions looking to be filled ahead of the resort’s busy season:
- Accounting positions
- Banquets and catering
- Food and beverage
- Hotel staff
- Human resources
- Casino staff
- Information technology
- Carnival Midway
- Property maintenance
- Special Events
- Topgolf Swing Suite
- The Spa

Eldorado’s Enticing Benefits Package
In an effort to incentivize prospective workers, Eldorado Resorts is flaunting their benefits package in conjunction with their onsite Eldorado Family Medical Center. They hope their generous benefits package will encourage more job-seekers to apply, especially in light of Reno’s tight and uncertain job market.
“(Employees) will receive free doctor visits, physicals, lab work, annual wellness checks, flu shots and access to over 50 high-quality generic drugs, helping them save on their out-of-pocket medical expenses each year,” Robbins said. “Team members are able to see a provider within 24 hours of scheduling an appointment without any co-pays or added costs.”
