There are two courses on-site: the Stadium and the Champions course. It is the official home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Since the venue is home to PGA events, that means the features are held to the highest standards. Both golf courses are widely celebrated and are often ranked among the best in the country. There is even an annual pass program for players who want unlimited access to the links.

In addition to two fantastic courses, TPC Scottsdale has many other great amenities. At the clubhouses, guests have access to award-winning cuisine. Arizona has one of the youngest sports betting markets in the US. The Copper State did not allow legal fantasy sports betting until last August. Legal sports betting followed in September 2021. Even if that short time frame, sports betting has become widely popular.

In January of this year, sportsbooks raked in a total betting handle of $564 million. Sports bettors in Arizona prefer mobile sports betting above other wagering options. That is good news for the state because the tax rate is higher on mobile bets.

Currently, Arizona’s gambling laws call for an 8% state tax on retail wagers. Mobile bets on the other hand are taxed at a 10% rate. Arizona also charges a 5% tax on all winnings. So far, legal sportsbooks have generated roughly $60 million in revenue. The state has collected more than $6.1 million in taxes from gaming revenue.
