Downtown Grand Tops off Third Tower, Final Phase of Development

Downtown Grand Hotel & CasinoThe Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino are nearing completion of the expansive, third tower addition to their property, which first broke ground a little over a year ago. The new tower is adding a generous 250,000 square feet of hospitality space, with 495 new rooms to tack onto the property’s existing 629 rooms. The tower has seven total guest-room floors.

“The topping out of our newest tower is an energizing milestone for all of us at the property,” said John Culetsu, VP and Managing Director of the Downtown Grand. “We are in the final phases of development and closer to the ultimate goal of extending our revered guest experience to many more travelers. We look forward to delivering the city’s newest room product this fall.”

The new tower plans to begin hotel bookings by spring, and ready for guests officially check-ins this September.

Third Tower Boosts Property’s Aesthetic

Located on the east side of the property, Downtown Grand’s third tower is a sleek, redefining architectural feature that stands at the corner of 4th and Ogden, within clear pedestrian view. With its contemporary exterior architecture, featuring clean lines and a modern, neutral color scheme, it’s a ramped-up boost to the property’s overall street presence.

The towel also features a versatile new entrance that leads to the main hotel casino floor.

Suite Upgrades

The Downtown Grand seeks to provide the modern traveler with a unique “boutique hotel experience.” With that goal in mind, the third toward has also upgraded its suites to include a premier room list offering 67 studio units, 20 one-bedroom suites, and three Presidential Suites. The Presidential Suites include the largest square footage, with close to 1,500 square feet of entertainable space.
