Resorts World LV Offers a Look at New Cashless Gaming System

Resorts World LV

In less than two weeks Resorts World Las Vegas will finally open its doors to the public. It’s been a long-time coming and many expect this casino-resort to be one of the best ever made. Now is the perfect time to take a last-minute look at Resorts World LV.

The owners of this property are promising something truly special. Based on the price of its construction, that seems likely. Will it manage to compete with the other popular casinos in Las Vegas, though?

Here’s what you need to know.

Las Vegas Casinos Continue Working to Bring in Visitors

In many ways, 2020 revealed just how fragile the economy in Las Vegas can be. Granted, the events that unfolded that year were unprecedented. It still showed just how difficult things can be here when the casino industry is forced to shut down.

Closing casinos meant tourism came to a halt in the city. In turn, many of the different businesses that rely on tourism immediately faced going under. The city’s economy was hurt worse than any other in the country.

Fortunately, things have bounced back throughout 2021. Most of the major casino-resorts in the city have reopened and can now operate without any of the restrictions set in place last year. Tourism rates are increasing and gaming revenue continues to surge.

Some of the smaller properties in this city are doing what they can to bring in more visitors, too. Harrah’s Las Vegas recently completed a massive $200 million renovation. The rooms inside the property have been designed and the casino floor underwent a major improvement.

Most analysts expect to see a major surge of visitors over June, July, and August. A huge number of major musical acts have brief residencies planned over the summer. Several major Fourth of July parties have recently been announced, as well.

One of the most exciting new casino-resorts in history will also be opening its doors to the public this summer. We’re now beginning to get a last-minute look at this property ahead of its opening day.

Here’s Another Update on Resorts World LV

Most casino fans have likely heard of Resorts World Las Vegas over the past few years. This property has been under construction since 2017 and its opening date has been pushed back on several occasions. On June 24, this massive casino-resort will finally open to the public.

Resorts World LV cost an astounding $4.3 billion to build. That makes it the most expensive resort property ever built in the city. With that massive price tag comes extremely high expectations. The owners of this property certainly believe it will surpass what many imagine.

Rich Hutchins, senior vice president of casino operations at Resorts World Las Vegas, revealed this week that this property would be the first to utilize its own mobile app and cashless betting system. This, he argues, makes it the most technologically advanced venue in the city.

“Our vision at Resorts World Las Vegas has always been to provide first-of-its-kind experiences across every element of the resort, including gaming,” he said. “Through our partnerships with the best-in-class gaming technology partners, we will offer our guests a fully integrated experience, not just on the gaming floor, but across the entire resort.”

A cashless wagering system that allows players to play slots and table games will also be introduced soon. These players will be able to link their bank accounts directly to these cashless wallets. The owners believe this will end up spurring other casinos in the city to embrace this new evolution in casino gambling.

One of the biggest holidays of the year is just around the corner and Las Vegas is anticipating a huge number of tourists. Will Resorts World manage to bring in the most visitors with its Fourth of July festivities?

Casino-Resorts Announce Fourth of July Festivities

Summertime is always the busiest season for Las Vegas. Millions of people from around the world tend to flock to the city to take part in gambling, nightlife, and entertainment. With restrictions gone and travel increasing, this summer should be one for the ages in the city.

Fourth of July is just around the corner and many are now trying to decide which venue to stay in. Casinos here recognize that fact and are doing what they can to bring in visitors. Some are offering truly unique deals and experiences.

Over at Resorts World LV, a massive party will be taking place at the Ayu Dayclub. Miley Cyrus is set to headline the party. It seems likely that this will be one of the hottest and most popular parties during the Fourth of July weekend.

Nearly all of the major casino-resorts in the city are offering their guests exciting nightlife options over the holiday weekend. Nightclubs such as Tao, the Marquee, and others are putting on multi-night events. More entertainment options in the city are likely to be announced over the next week.

This will certainly be an exciting time to visit the city. Room rates are beginning to increase and many are recommending to make reservations as early as possible. Feel free to take a closer look at what Resorts World LV is offering over the Fourth of July weekend!

Harrah’s Las Vegas Completes Massive Renovation Project

Harrah's Las Vegas

The economy in Las Vegas is recovering quicker than many expected. As restrictions are lifted, more tourists are making the journey into this city. Hotel-casinos here are now doing what they can to attract visitors. Reports have surfaced this week confirming that Harrah’s Las Vegas has completed its major renovation project.

Many gambling fans have been excited to see this property complete this renovation. The owners hope it will help to boost visitation rates. Now is a great time to look at what exactly has changed here.

Let’s get into it!

Las Vegas Casinos Continue to See an Increase in Visitors

The casino industry in Las Vegas has been steadily improving throughout 2021. Much of that has to do with the country’s success fighting against the pandemic. Infection rates have been steadily dropping around the US and travel is ramping up.

As infection rates drop, Nevada’s leaders have been allowing businesses to operate with fewer restrictions. That includes the casino operators in the state. Today, nearly all casino restrictions set in place last year have been removed.

There is a real sense of normalcy in Las Vegas. The majority of casino-resorts here are now seeing a steady increase in their visitation rates. As the summer months continue, a growing number of tourists are expected to make the journey to this city.

Gaming revenue in Nevada has been increasing throughout most of 2021. The casinos in the state earned more than $1 billion in April for the second month in a row. It’s a massive accomplishment and shows how far things have come here.

This upward trend is unlikely to slow down anytime soon. Las Vegas is set to welcome an incredible new casino-resort later this month. Some exciting new entertainment options are becoming available here, as well. These should help to further fuel tourism rates into the city.

Expect to see a large number of major casino renovations taking place in Las Vegas over the next few months. It appears the one at Harrah’s has now finally wrapped up.

Harrah’s Las Vegas Completes its Major Renovation Project

Some of the most incredible casino-resorts in the world operate in Las Vegas. The majority of these world-class gambling venues are based on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s here that properties such as The Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan, and Caesars Palace are located.

Harrah’s Las Vegas operated near the center of the Las Vegas Strip. It’s one of the less-expensive options in the city and draws in a huge amount of visitors every year. Over the past few months, this hotel-casino has been undergoing a major renovation.

This renovation has just wrapped up! Reports have confirmed that the $200 million project has been completed this week. 2,542 rooms have been completely redesigned and the casino floor has been remodeled. Senior vice president and general manager Dan Walsh believes this will be a major improvement for guests moving forward.

“As a flagship location of the iconic gaming and hospitality brand, revamping Harrah’s Las Vegas not only enhances the guest experience but also further reflects the fun and energy that makes Las Vegas such a unique travel destination,” he said.

It seems likely that Harrah’s will soon begin to see a major influx of tourists into the city. It’s one of the most affordable options on the Las Vegas Strip. Now that Harrah’s Las Vegas has completed its renovation, many will be jumping at the opportunity to gamble and stay inside this property.

Of course, the aforementioned opening of Resorts World Las Vegas could overshadow this renovation. Here’s a last-minute look at Resorts World ahead of opening day!

Last-Minute Details on Resorts World LV are Coming Out!

Resorts World Las Vegas has been under construction for years. It’s faced its fair share of issues over the years, including the shutdowns that took place in 2020. At $4.3 billion, this is the most expensive casino-resort ever built in this city.

On June 24, this property will finally open its doors to the public. Gambling fans around the country are excited to see this venue up and running. More details about this venue are coming out as the opening day draws closer.

Nun Caught Stealing Thousands to Pay for Casino Gambling

Casino Floor

The US land-based casino industry is experiencing a major comeback this year. It appears some gambling fans are willing to break the law in order to play inside their favorite casinos. This week, news broke of a nun caught stealing hundreds of thousands in order to pay for her gaming habit.

It’s surprising news for several reasons. Today, we’ll talk about the details of this unusual case. We’ll also discuss some of the developments made in the casino industry lately.

Let’s get into it!

Most US Casino Destinations Report Surge in Revenue Throughout 2021

All casinos across the United States were shut down in March of 2020. This had some massive repercussions for casino destinations around the country. No casino hub was as heavily affected as Las Vegas.

The economic situation in this city has improved rapidly over the past six months. Tourism is increasing every single week. As a result, all of the casinos in Las Vegas are experiencing a surge of gaming revenue.

Some of the country’s casino hubs are seeing more impressive increases than others. This past March, Nevada’s gaming revenue surpassed $1 billion in total revenue. In Clark County, the casinos reported a 63% jump in revenue when compared to March of 2020.

Atlantic City has also been seeing a steady increase in revenue throughout 2021. As a result, many of the casinos here are set to underdog major renovations soon. The owners of these properties are confident that these renovations will result in a major spike in visitation rates.

Many of the smaller US casino hubs are seeing improvements, too. Places like Pennsylvania and Maryland continue to report revenue increases. Based on the current trend, 2021 will end up being one of the most successful years in history for the casino industry.

Of course, some individuals choose to break the law in order to fuel their gambling habits. One of the more unusual cases of this was reported this week.

Here’s What We Know About the Nun Caught Stealing to Fund Gambling Habit

As travel ramps up around the country, US casinos continue to see their visitation and revenue rates go up. A huge number of people are now choosing to play inside their favorite casinos. Many of the best gaming venues in California are located in the Los Angeles region.

Earlier this week, news broke of a nun caught stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for her gambling habit. Mary Margaret Kreuper, 79, of Los Angeles, admitted to money laundering. She reportedly used the money given for donations and fee money to play inside popular Southern California and Nevada casinos.

She used money given to the St. James Catholic School, where she acted as principal for more than 28 years. Kreuper’s lawyer spoke to the media about this situation on Tuesday. He claims she is remorseful for her actions.

“As soon as she was confronted she accepted full responsibility for what she had done and she has cooperated completely with law enforcement and the Archdiocese,” the lawyer said in a statement. “She has been suffering from a mental illness that clouded her judgment and caused her to do something that she otherwise would not have done.”

These are obviously serious charges brought against Kreuper. If convicted, she faces up to 40 years in federal prison. It will now be up to her defense team to reduce her sentence. That won’t be easy with the amount of evidence available.

We’ll be sure to offer more information on this situation over the next few months. Now, let’s take a look at some of the new developments coming to Las Vegas this year!

Here’s a Look at What’s Coming to Las Vegas This Summer

Summertime is always the busiest time of the year for the city of Las Vegas. Even in 2020, when much of the city remained shut down, tourism rates jumped over June, July, and August. Summer of 2021 should prove to be one of the most successful in history for this city.

There are some exciting things coming here soon. This weekend, for example, the new Virgin Hotel-Casino is set to host of the biggest parties in Las Vegas this year. The multi-day event is expected to bring in a huge amount of visitors to this property.

Let’s get into it!

More LV Nightlife Options are Becoming Available Every Month

The nightlife options in Las Vegas are legendary. In this small city, more world-class nightclubs and bars are available than anywhere else in the country. Back in March of 2020, the city’s entire nightlife industry was completely shut down.

It took months for anything to change here. Finally, over the summer of 2020, much of Las Vegas began to reopen. Tourism rates began to increase and many of the health regulations set in place here were slowly scrapped.

2021 is proving to be a much better year for Las Vegas. Today, most of the restrictions set in place last year have been removed. Masks are no longer required inside casinos and almost all venues here are able to operate at 100% capacity.

It seems like every month, more nightlife options in Las Vegas are becoming available. Nearly all of the casino-resorts on the Las Vegas Strip have reopened their nightclubs. This is helping to bring in more tourists from around the country.

There are some exciting new clubs opening in the city over the next few months, too. Most are looking at the AYU Dayclub and Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas. Resorts World is opening to the public on June 24 and is expected to be one of the best new properties in the city.

Virgin Hotel is Set to Host One of the Biggest Parties in Las Vegas

This summer is already shaping up to be one of the most special ones in history for the city of Las Vegas. The tourism situation here has been improving over the entire year. Hotels are now reporting a surge of bookings over June, July, and August.

The Virgin Hotel-Casino opened its doors earlier this year. It’s the first casino that the Virgin Group has opened. As many expected, this has proven to be a hugely popular venue for those looking to stay off the Las Vegas Strip.

This week, news broke that one of the biggest parties in Las Vegas this summer will be taking place at the Virgin Hotel. Richard “Boz” Bosworth, President and CEO of the hotel’s ownership group, discussed the “Unstoppable Weekend” party to the media this week. He believes it will help the hotel bring in a huge number of new guests.

“We wanted vibrancy. We wanted a party, and we wanted it to be safe,” he said. And we felt it would have been irresponsible to have that level of a party when you had to have anywhere from 3 to 6 foot social distancing, or 75% capacity, or no dancing, or some of the very natural restrictions that were needed (to keep) our community healthy and safe.”

This party will begin on Thursday and concludes on Sunday. Christina Aguilera will be headlining the show. Reports claim that Virgin CEO Richard Branson will also be attending many of the festivities.

The “Unstoppable Weekend” is expected to be one of the biggest parties in Las Vegas this summer. If you’re in the city, head over to the Virgin Hotel to see what all of the hype is about!

Fireworks are Returning to Las Vegas on July 4

The Fourth of July is usually one of the busiest days of the year for Las Vegas. This year’s July 4 falls on a Sunday and the weekend is expected to be one for the ages. To the delight of many people planning a trip here, fireworks will be returning to the city this year!

Historically speaking, Las Vegas hosts some truly remarkable fireworks celebrations every year. The one next month should prove to be one of the best yet. Many of the biggest casino-resorts in the city are already planning to launch massive fireworks shows on July 4.

Over at the aforementioned Resorts World Las Vegas, Miley Cyrus will be performing at the AYU Dayclub. The performance will conclude with a fireworks show.

Of course, one of the biggest parties in Las Vegas is taking place this weekend! It seems likely that this party weekend will bring a surge of visitors to the Virgin Hotel-Casino. We’ll be sure to report more on this event once it concludes.

Station Casinos is Launching More LV Entertainment Options

LV Entertainment

As Las Vegas slowly returns to normal, casino companies across the city are looking to bring in more patrons. One way to achieve that goal is to increase the number of entertainment options inside popular casinos. This week, news broke that Station Casinos plans to launch more LV entertainment options inside several of its most popular gaming venues.

Las Vegas remains the gambling and entertainment hub of the country. There have been some clear signs that this city is recovering right now. Now is a great time to look at some of the recent developments here.

Let’s check it out!

The Final Restrictions in Las Vegas Have Been Removed

It’s been a long road back to recovery for the city of Las Vegas. Back in March of 2020, the casinos here were ordered to shut down. It wasn’t until June that any of them received permission to begin accepting guests again.

When these gambling venues reopened, health officials ordered all of them to abide by intense health regulations. That included things such as operating at limited capacity and ordering all guests to wear masks. These rules seemed to keep many individuals from making the trip to the city.

As time went on and infection rates began to drop, many of these rules started to be lifted. This week, the final health regulations set in place here for casino-resorts were removed. The city is now closer to normal than ever before.

Casino companies here are now reporting a major surge of visitors. Hotel bookings hit record-highs for 2021 over Memorial Day weekend. Most analysts now believe they will see tourism numbers continue to increase over June, July, and August.

The owners of Resorts World Las Vegas have to be pleased to see regulations being lifted. This massive new casino-resort is set to open its doors on the Las Vegas Strip on June 24. It’s the most expensive gambling venue ever built here at $4.3 billion.

All of the major gaming operators in Las Vegas are now doing their best to boost their revenue. Here’s a look at what Station Casinos is doing to achieve that goal.

Station Casinos is Set to Expand its LV Entertainment Options

Station Casinos was founded back in 1976. At that time, the company had a completely unique idea for Las Vegas. Rather than focus on large casinos looking to attract tourists, Station Casinos built a handful of gambling venues that cater primarily to locals.

This decision proved to be a good one. The company quickly expanded, opening more casinos throughout the city of Las Vegas. Today, it owns 21 different casinos and employs more than 11,000 individuals.

Like all other casino companies in Las Vegas, Station Casinos was hit hard by the pandemic. Fortunately, there has been a major recovery taking place lately. It now appears that the major gaming operator is now focused on bringing in more players.

Offering more entertainment options is one great way to achieve that goal. This week, the company revealed it will be significantly expanding its LV entertainment options. Some of Station Casinos’ most popular gaming properties will soon be offering a variety of fun new options for guests. Check some of them out below!

The Global Gaming Expo is Heading Back to Las Vegas

Global Gaming Expo

The Global Gaming Expo is widely considered to be the biggest annual gambling industry trade show in the world. It was canceled in 2020 and many questioned whether or not it would make a comeback this year. Fortunately, reports have confirmed that this popular expo will be making a return to Las Vegas in October!

Many involved in the gaming industry are excited to hear this news. The casino companies in Las Vegas will also benefit from the return of this event. Now is a great time to talk about what those interested in attending this show can expect.

Let’s get into it!

Memorial Day Brings a Surge of Visitors to Las Vegas

Las Vegas remains the country’s biggest tourism hub. As travel ramps up around the United States, the gambling and tourism industry in this city are seeing major surges of revenue. This past Memorial Day weekend proved to be a very successful month for the city.

That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. This weekend tends to be one of the busiest travel weekends of the year. Prior to 2020, a staggering number of individuals would make the trip to this city to enjoy a long weekend gambling.

Things have improved massively throughout 2021 and reports have confirmed that Las Vegas saw a major surge of tourism over Memorial Day weekend. Many officials within the gambling industry here claim they see the city returning to normal.

Casino companies in Las Vegas continue to report major surges in tourism. All are now able to operate without requiring guests to wear masks. The capacity limit inside these venues is also now back at 100%, helping to fuel more tourism to the city.

Some now believe that the opening of Resorts World Las Vegas will bring another major surge of visitors to the city. This property is scheduled to open its doors on June 24. At $4.3 billion, it’s the most expensive casino-resort ever built in Las Vegas.

Major conventions are also returning to Las Vegas this year. That includes the popular Global Gaming Expo! Here’s what you need to know about the 2021 edition of this trade conference.

Sources Confirm the Global Gaming Expo is Returning to Las Vegas in October

The gambling industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace. With the emerging online gaming platforms becoming available, many businesses and individuals are looking at ways to break into this industry. Some believe the Global Gaming Expo is the best annual gambling expo in the world.

This exposition first took place in 2001 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It has taken place every year in Las Vegas since that time. As many are aware, 2020 ended up being the first year that the Global Gaming Expo did not take place since it began.

Many feared this expo would not end up taking place in 2021. Those fears have begun to wane as infection rates drop and regulations in Las Vegas are lifted. This week, news broke that Las Vegas will once again host the G2E from October 4-7! Meredith Pallante, vice-president of the American Gaming Association, spoke about this news to the media this week.

“We can’t wait to bring the industry back together in Las Vegas for G2E 2021,” she said. “The industry has shown tremendous resilience throughout the pandemic and being able to gather together again will be another great milestone in our strong recovery.”

A huge number of individuals have been asking about this convention. 80% of those polled claimed they would be willing to attend this convention in person. That’s great news for both the organizers of the Global Gaming Expo and the casino companies operating in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is far from the only city experiencing a major surge in tourism and revenue. Here’s a look at how some of the country’s other gaming hubs are faring right now.

US Casino Hubs Report More Jumps in Tourism

The land-based gambling industry was devastated by the events that unfolded throughout 2020. Fortunately, this industry is rebounding faster than many initially expected. Most of the casino companies across the country are reporting big jumps in their tourism and gaming revenue.

That includes Atlantic City. This small city in New Jersey remains the largest gaming hub on the East Coast. Much like Las Vegas, it has been seeing a steady recovery over the first five months of 2021.

A few weeks ago, the American Gaming Association reported that US gambling revenue surged massively throughout 2021’s first quarter. In fact, total gross gaming revenue in New Jersey came out to $993.7 million through the first three months of the year. That represents a massive increase when compared to the first three months of 2020.

Over in Louisiana, casino revenue jumped in a big way, as well. The casinos in Baton Rouge reported gross gaming revenue of $26.4 million in April. That’s a fairly large increase from the month prior.

Overall, it’s clear that the US gambling industry is recovering quickly. This summer should prove to be hugely successful for the casinos around the country. Hope is that this trend continues for years to come.

Who Might Serve as a Replacement for McGregor vs. Poirier 3?

McGregor After Win

On July 10, UFC superstar Conor McGregor will make his highly-anticipated return to the Octagon to take on an old rival, Dustin Poirier. This trilogy fight will likely be one of the biggest in UFC history and should generate some massive Pay-Per-View buys. This week, UFC President Dana White offered some insight into a possible replacement for McGregor vs. Poirier 3.

Hope is that nothing ends up canceling this blockbuster fight. Anything can happen in the fight game, though. Today, we’ll take a close look at who might be willing to step in against either of these fighters.

Here’s what you need to know.

UFC 264 Will be the First Sold-Out Show in Las Vegas Since 2020

Las Vegas, Nevada has been the UFC’s headquarters for years. The promotion has put on some of the best MMA events in history in Sin City. Oftentimes, these events result in a massive surge of tourism for the city.

The last event held in front of a sold-out crowd here took place in March of 2020. Shortly afterward, Las Vegas’ tourism industry came to a screeching halt. Casinos were ordered to shut down and the city’s economy began to tumble.

Things have been improving massively throughout 2021. As infection rates drop, health officials in Nevada are easing back on major health regulations. Not long ago, Governor Sisolak gave the green light for all major casino-resorts in Las Vegas to remove their mask mandate.

City officials have also recently announced that shows will be returning with full crowds. It didn’t take long for the UFC to take advantage of that fact. On Saturday, July 10, the UFC will finally return with a sold-out event here headlined by the trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

This event is expected to draw in a huge number of viewers to the city. Many will likely also make the trip to Las Vegas to check out the new Resorts World Las Vegas complex. At $4.2 billion, this is the most expensive casino-resort ever built in the city.

It’s not uncommon to see major fights canceled at the last minute. Injuries, scheduling issues, and illness can scrap even the most highly-anticipated bouts. We’re now hearing more about what the UFC has planned in the event that McGregor vs. Poirier 3 gets scrapped.

Here’s Who Could Act as a Replacement for McGregor vs. Poirier 3

There aren’t many fights in 2021 with as much hype as the third matchup between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. Back in 2014, Conor scored a quick first-round knockout over Poirier en-route to becoming the UFC’s first double champion. In January of 2021, Poirier returned the favor by stopping the Irishman with strikes in the second round.

There’s some real heat leading into this trilogy fight. Even the top MMA betting experts seem torn as to how the action might unfold. Of course, there’s always the possibility that this fight never ends up coming together for one reason or another.

Dana White is now working on an insurance plan in case either McGregor or Poirier are unable to compete. Interestingly, the UFC President claims there aren’t many fighters jumping at the opportunity to act as a possible replacement. He spoke to Bleacher Report about this situation earlier this week. Check out his comments below,

“I’m actually looking for someone right now to be the backup on that card,” White claimed “Nobody’s jumping out. Nobody’s kicking down my door.”

Justin Gaethje could certainly fit into that spot. He has a history with both fighters and is ranked third in the UFC’s lightweight rankings. Gaethje has repeatedly claimed he does not take short notice fights, however, and may not agree to a massive fight like this one without adequate preparation.

It will be interesting to see how the UFC approaches making a replacement for McGregor vs. Poirier 3. For now, fans will need to hope that nothing ends canceling what will likely be the biggest MMA event in years.

How to Find the Best Odds on McGregor vs. Poirier 3

MMA betting is growing more popular every single year. 2021 is shaping up to be one of the best years in history for the sport and a huge number of fans are now making their predictions on McGregor vs. Poirier 3. Some are also choosing to make their wagers on this exciting bout.

Many are heading over to BetOnline to bet on the McGregor-Poirier trilogy. This site launched nearly a decade ago and has grown to become one of the most popular internet sportsbooks in the world. It’s offering some fantastic odds on the entire UFC 264 card.

At the moment, Conor McGregor is listed as the -122 favorite. He is one of the most skilled strikers in MMA history and claims to have learned from the second bout with Poirier. Many feel he will make adjustments and score a knockout win in this third fight.

Dustin Poirier looked incredible in his second fight with McGregor. If he can utilize the same game plan in this fight, he has a great opportunity to earn another victory. BetOnline lists him as the +102 underdog to get the job done.

This fight will serve as the headliner for UFC 264. It should be an excellent night of fights for fans. Stay tuned for more updates on this event on July 10 as it draws closer!

Over the past few months, health officials in Nevada have been slowly lifting back many of the health regulations that have been set in place since 2020. This seems to be helping to boost tourism around the state. Beginning next Monday, all casino restrictions in Las Vegas will officially be removed.

The casino companies here have reason to celebrate. This decision comes just before the summer season and may lead to a major surge in visitors. Today, we’ll take a look at which rules are set to be removed.

Let’s get into it!

Las Vegas Casinos Report Surge of Bookings for Memorial Day Weekend

The city of Las Vegas is known as the entertainment capital of the United States. This small city would generally bring in more than 40 million individuals from around the world every single year. Many flock to the different casino-resorts to enjoy the gambling and entertainment options.

2020 proved to be the most devastating year in history for the tourism industry here. For months, all of the casinos here were completely shut down. It wasn’t until June of 2020 that the gambling industry here began to bounce back.

Things have been improving massively throughout 2021. Tourism rates in the city have been steadily increasing. It now seems that this upcoming weekend will be one of the best of the year for the tourism industry here.

Memorial Day weekend is always a busy time for the gambling industry here. This year is shaping up to be one for the ages. Almost all of the hotel-casino companies here are reporting a huge surge of bookings over the weekend.

It’s great news for all of these casino companies. Most of them are still in serious need of big revenue surges to make up for the money lost last year. Memorial Day weekend will be a good way to begin this revenue increase.

Some feel that the increase in tourism here is also due to a lifting of restrictions. It now appears this city is ready to remove all of these restrictions next week.

Nevada Gaming Control Board Agrees to Remove All Casino Restrictions in Las Vegas

Nevada remains the gambling hub of the United States. There are a huge number of world-class casinos here, each of which is trying to bring in more visitors. It hasn’t been easy with many of the regulations set in place.

Infection rates throughout Nevada and the rest of the country have been dropping steadily lately. It’s fantastic news for the gaming industry here. As these rates drop, more people are choosing to travel to major casino destinations.

This drop in infections is also giving health officials the confidence to ease back on rules. Reports have confirmed that the Nevada Gaming Control Board has agreed to remove all casino restrictions in Las Vegas beginning on June 1. Gaming Control Board Brin Gibson offered a statement to the media this week.

“Each licensee shall comply with its respective county’s general capacity and occupancy limitations and social distancing requirements, as detailed in the county’s local plan, within the licensee’s gaming areas,” Gibson said. “As of June 1, 2021, none of Nevada’s counties will retain social distancing or occupancy limitations that would apply to a gaming licensee.”

Capacity limits are back at 100%. Casino-resorts around Las Vegas no longer need to require guests to wear masks. Overall, it appears that this city is nearly back to the way it was prior to March of 2020.

This should help to further boost tourism rates in the city. Stay tuned for more reports on revenue figures here over the next few weeks!

Atlantic City is Slower to Remove Major Restrictions

Throughout 2020, the economic situation in Las Vegas was covered by the media extensively. Overall, Las Vegas was economically impacted more by the pandemic than any other city in the country. As many know, Atlantic City also took a serious economic blow.

This city has been slower to remove its major restrictions. Governor Phil Murphy wants to ensure that the situation is completely secure before allowing casinos to operate at full capacity. Some feel it’s now time for this to change.

Tourism rates in Atlantic City have been steadily increasing throughout 2021. Not long ago, reports on the city’s revenue throughout the year’s first quarter were also just released. Many are impressed to see where things stand.

Throughout January, February, and March, the casinos in this city managed to bring in $95 million in gross gaming revenue. It’s a major increase when compared to 2020. This figure is also larger than what was seen here in 2019.

Hopefully, things continue to improve and Atlantic City casinos are able to operate at full capacity. Removing the mask mandate here may also help to promote tourism. We’ll continue to report on the rules changes here as the year goes on.

Here’s What’s Happening in Las Vegas Over Memorial Day Weekend!

Las Vegas Holiday Weekend

Not long ago, Governor Steve Sisolak announced that casinos in Las Vegas no longer need to require vaccinated guests to wear masks. It’s a huge move for the city and could help to boost tourism rates. Today, we’ll quickly talk about what’s happening in Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend!

This is an extremely exciting time for the city of Las Vegas. There are some big changes taking place here. Casino companies are now bracing for a surge of visitors from around the country.

Here’s a look at what exactly is going on here.

All Major Las Vegas Casinos Remove Mask Mandates

Just one year ago, the entire US land-based casino industry was completely shut down. The country’s gambling hubs such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City saw their tourism industries come to a screeching halt. It was the toughest time for this industry in history.

Things are considerably different in 2021. Gambling revenue has been steadily increasing throughout the course of the year. Tourism into major casino destinations is ramping up and exciting new gambling venues are beginning to open their doors.

Over the weekend, Governor Sisolak announced that masks will no longer need to be worn by vaccinated individuals. As a result, casino companies across Las Vegas removed their mask mandate. It’s the first time this has taken place since March of last year.

Obviously, there are some questions surrounding this situation. Will vaccinated individuals need to present some kind of proof to not wear a mask? It’s unlikely. Instead, it will be up to individuals themselves to wear or not wear a face covering inside.

Many expect this new rule to further boost tourism in Las Vegas. Many people around the country were unwilling to visit and gamble inside a casino if a mask was required. With that requirement now gone, an influx of tourists will likely be seen in Sin City.

Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner and a huge number of individuals are making the trip to Las Vegas. Here’s a quick look at what will be happening over the holiday weekend!

This is What’s Happening in Las Vegas Over Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest travel days in the country. Many people around the country have an extended weekend and choose to take a vacation. This tends to be one of the busiest times of the year for Las Vegas.

Many have questioned whether or not 2021’s Memorial Day weekend would bring the same level of tourism. With the removal of several regulations, this holiday weekend could be one for the record books.

Analysts believe that the weekend could end up kicking off the summer tourism boom for Las Vegas. Brendan Bussmann of consulting firm Global Market Advisors spoke about this situation to the media this week.

“With capacities continuing to increase, this year’s Memorial Day may end up being one of the best that the city has seen in some time,” he said.

Those asking what’s happening in Las Vegas will be pleasantly surprised to hear that the majority of casinos here are now operating at 100% capacity. As we mentioned earlier, most are also rolling back their mask mandates. As travel demand increases, hotels are significantly increasing their room rates.

Some hotel-casinos are already reporting 90% capacity filled over Memorial Day weekend. A huge number of fun entertainment options are becoming available. Some feel it will be the first time that Las Vegas feels the way it did prior to 2020. Stay tuned for updates!

Resorts World Las Vegas Opens in Just Over One Month

It’s been more than ten years since a major casino-resort opened its doors on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s not much of a surprise. The cost of opening a major gambling venue here is enormous and very few companies are willing to make the investment here.

On June 24th, Resorts World Las Vegas will finally open its doors. This property has been under construction in the northern area of the Strip for years. It cost $4.2 billion to construct, making it the most expensive property ever opened here.

This is expected to be a truly one-of-a-kind casino. Many are already making their plans to visit over the next few months. Analysts expect it to be a massive hit with tourists from around the world.

With the opening date now just over one month away, the owners are beginning to release more information. Katy Perry and Celine Dion have been confirmed to hold shows here over the next few months. Several famous restaurant chains will also be opening inside the property.

Mask Rules in Las Vegas Casinos are Beginning to Change

Masks Inside Casino

Earlier this week, the CDC released a new set of health guidelines for vaccinated individuals around the country. The national agency now claims that vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks indoors. As a result, mask rules in Las Vegas casinos are quickly changing.

This new statement from the CDC doesn’t mean everyone can throw their masks in the garbage. Individuals are still able to set their own rules on this situation. Now is a great time to talk about how things are changing over in Las Vegas.

Let’s get into it!

Most Las Vegas Casinos Resume Full Capacity

Las Vegas is home to more world-class casinos than any other city in the country. The majority of these venues are located on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s here that casino-resorts such as The Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan, and Caesars Palace are all located.

Most are well-aware of the impact that the pandemic had on these casinos. Back in March of 2020, all of the gambling properties across Nevada were forced to shut down. It took months for any of them to reopen to the public.

Gambling revenue fluctuated greatly throughout 2020. The summer months brought an influx of tourism. As the colder fall and winter months approached, however, tourism declined and revenue began to plummet once again.

2021 is proving to be a significantly more successful year for the gambling industry here. Casinos have been reporting consistent revenue increases with each passing month. Many of the city’s most popular casinos are also choosing to reopen many of their most popular amenities.

The majority of casino-resorts in the city have now resumed full capacity. As the health situation around the country improves, restrictions in Las Vegas are being lifted. That is helping to boost tourism rates more as the months go on.

There is a lot happening in Las Vegas right now. Here’s an update on the mask situation across the city!

Mask Rules in Las Vegas Casinos are Being Removed

Since mid-2020, all of the casinos in Las Vegas have been enforcing a strict set of health regulations. Perhaps the most notable was the requirement to wear masks at all times while indoors. Some felt this rule was keeping gamblers from visiting the city.

Vaccine distribution has been ramping up around the country over the past couple of months. As a result, many states are seeing a major drop in their infection rates. This gives them the ability to remove many of the intense regulations previously set in place.

This certainly applies to Nevada. The monthly infection rate in this state has been gradually decreasing throughout 2020. As time goes on, state officials are easing back on many of the restrictions set in place here since last year.

News is now coming out that the mask rules in Las Vegas casinos are being lifted. After the CDC’s announcement this week, many of the biggest casino-resorts have announced that vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear masks. It proves how far the country has come in dealing with the global health crisis. MGM Resorts officially announced it will no longer require masks at its LV properties today.

“Dear colleagues, yesterday the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued new public health guidelines stating that those who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus can stop wearing facemasks and maintaining social distancing in most settings… As a result, we will no longer require fully vaccinated guests to wear masks at any of our Las Vegas properties, effective at noon PST today, May 14th,” the statement said.

Many will be happy to hear about this new ruleset. It should help to significantly boost tourism rates throughout Las Vegas moving forward. We’ll be sure to offer more updates on this situation over the next couple of weeks!

Resorts World Las Vegas Announces More Entertainment Headliners

There has been a huge amount of attention placed on Resorts World Las Vegas over the past few months. As many know, this massive casino-resort has been under construction in the northern area of the Las Vegas Strip for months. This property will finally open its doors to the public on June 24.

This will be the most expensive gambling venue ever opened in the city. It cost an astounding $4.2 billion to construct. Analysts expect it to be a one-of-a-kind venue in just about every single way.

More details about Resorts World LV are coming out as the opening date draws closer. This week, the dates for the casino-resorts entertainment headliners were released. Katy Perry and Celine Dion are both set to host a series of shows here.

Celine Dion will begin her set of performances on November 5. This will be the first of ten shows inside Resorts World. The money earned from the opening performance of Dion will go toward Covid-19 relief.

Katy Perry will begin her performances here on December 29. Country star Luke Bryan will then start his series of shows in the casino-resort on February 11. It’s clear that this property wants to establish itself as one of the city’s entertainment hubs.
