- British Open champions 2017-21

Winning a major tournament is not the only way to qualify for The Masters. Plenty of other tournament wins can secure you an invitation to the US Masters.

- Winners of the 2017-22 Players Championship
- Current Olympic Gold Medalist
- 2021 US Amateur champion and runner-up
- 2021 British Amateur champion
- 2021 Asia-Pacific Amateur champion

- 2021 US Mid-Amateur champion
Outside of winning a championship in the last few years, players can also qualify for their placement in the biggest tournaments of the year. In these qualifying categories, ties are included in the rankings.
To help round out the field, the following players were also invited to the 2022 Masters:
- Individual winners from PGA Tour events since the 2021 Masters. The event must have awarded a full-point allocation for the Tour Championship at the end of the season.
- Players who qualified for the 2021 Tour Championship
- 50 leading players on the final Official World Golf Rankings in the last calendar year
- 50 leading players on the Official World Golf Rankings in the week before the 2022 Masters
- Other invited international players
What Are the Prizes for Winning the Masters?
The US Masters is one of the biggest events of the professional golf season and it has prizes to match. First and second place receive trophies and cash prizes. Players can also qualify for awards for performances throughout the tournament.
Masters Champion Prizes
Perhaps the most well-known prize for winning the US Masters is the coveted Green Jacket. The jacket was awarded in 1949 and is the official attire of Augusta National Club members.
