We will begin with an overview that will provide quick hits before we look closer at each category, including gaming, dining, plus their promotions and gift shop. So, if you’re interested in discovering all of what RiverStar offers, keep reading, because today’s post is one you will love.
Overview of RiverStar Casino
You will find RiverStar Casino at 11801 E 2160 Road in Terral, Oklahoma.
They feature a decent combination of real money slot machines and table games, along with casino promotions that will give you even more ways to win. If you’re looking to maximize those casino promos, make sure you join the River Casino Players Club. If you make return trips to the venue, the club more than comes in handy.
Along with casino, food, and drink options, you will also discover the Adrift Boutique Gift Shop, where you can take a piece of Terral and the Chickasaw Nation home with you. The gift shop features name brands like Yeti, Oakley, Brighton, Under Armour, and more, so you’re getting top-end merchandise here.
Now that you know a little about what to expect at RiverStar Casino, the rest of today’s post will discuss everything in the overview in further detail, starting with more of what you will find on the gaming floor.
Gaming and Promotions
Gaming at RiverStar Casino features over 600 electronic games, so chances are you will find your favorite classic theme or you will discover a new, state-of-the-art game here. Besides the number of themes, RiverStar also boasts a respectable array of jackpots, and you could become the next big winner.
Along with electronic games, RiverStar Casino also offers six live dealer table games. Again, you won’t find a king’s ransom in terms of electronic games or table games. But if you’re cool with a smaller number, you’ll love the blackjack, Three-Card Poker, and Texas Hold‘em the casino offers.
Along with a fair amount of table gaming and electronic games, RiverStar Casino also boasts solid promotions that feature giveaways, bonus plays, and more. If you’d like to be part of all the promos happening at RiverStar Casino, it’s wise to join the RiverStar Casino Players Club.
As a club member, you will have access to more than just maximum advantage of the promotions. A membership also allows for you to accumulate loyalty points just for playing your favorite casino games. Before you play, visit the desk and flash your ID.
Even if you don’t win at the slots of the tables for the day, you can still walk away from the casino floor wearing a smile, and knowing that you at least earned a few points for your time at the venue.
Wine and Dine
While RiverStar Casino’s food and drink options lack quantity, there is zero shortage in quality here. So, if you need to grab a bite before, in between games, or following a day playing your favorite casino games, head over to Kitchen 81 to immerse yourself in a winning menu, featuring a home style flair.
And if you’re looking for a local craft or cocktail, head over to The Bar, and you will find more than what you were looking for. Unwind after a long day at the casino, mingle with friends or locals, and enjoy the casual atmosphere before your next round of gaming at RiverStar Casino.
The Bar always offers specials, so make sure you ask the bartender on the deals you can receive during your time at the venue.
While you won’t find accommodations at RiverStar Casino, the areas surrounding the town of Terral boast plenty of awesome options. This section will discuss a few of our favorites.
Best Western Henrietta Inn features a myriad of property and room amenities. You will find it in nearby Hendrietta, Texas, so you’re crossing state borders to get there. However, it’s about 15 miles from RedRiver, so it’s not too far out of your way.
Property amenities include free parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, a pool, a fitness center, free breakfast, free stay for the kids in your travel group, storage base for bags, plus a business center.
Room amenities at this three-star property include a desk, interconnected rooms if applicable, a coffee slash tea maker, a microwave, flat-screen television, and a hair dryer. The venue also features non-smoking and family rooms, with prices starting at just $100 per night.
The Gazebo Bed and Breakfast is perhaps the ideal spot if you’re looking to take a vacation near the region. However, if you stay here, odds are you’re just playing at RiverStar Casino as a tourist passing through, since you will find the Gazebo about 25 miles away.
TripAdvisor describes this venue as a “hidden gem,” and it features a “Gone With the Wind experience” right on Sessions Street in Bowie, Texas.
They feature smoking rooms here at the bed and breakfast, along with free Wi-Fi, and even a hot tub.
If Bowie is your true destination and RiverStar is one of your many stops to or from, relax in quaint luxury at the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast.
Park’s Inn is also about 25 miles away in Bowie, and with prices starting at just $65 a night per TripAdvisor, it’s a cost effective way to relax in the area. Like the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast, odds are you’re passing through if you stay at this hotel, given its distance.
However, it’s still near enough to RiverStar and a few other Chickasaw Casinos that we can list it here. Despite its one-star status, it offers a few good amenities that include high-speed internet, a children’s activity area, a pool, non-smoking rooms, pet-friendly rooms, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry service.
The room features explains the hotel’s lower end of the spectrum, with nothing much more than a kitchenette and clothes racks, though many rooms contain a refrigerator. You won’t find a lot here, but if you’re looking for a cheaper price, Park’s Inn is where it’s at.
You’ll find quite a few attractions in the area surrounding RiverStar Casino. Most of which reside in Nocona, Texas, about 15 miles away from the casino.
The Nocona attractions include Horton’s Classic Car Museum, so it’s a shoo-in if you’re a car enthusiast looking to explore some of the hottest rides of yesterday. Daddy Sam’s Saloon is a popular bar in the area, and its interior will make you think of the Old West.
Tales ‘N Trails Museum is another specialty museum in Nocona. The area also contains a popular vintage mall called LaBelle’s over in Bowie, and another interesting landmark called the 1890 Jail slash Museum Heritage Center in Henrietta.
So, as you can see, RiverStar is about the only real attraction in Terral. But if you venture about 15-20 miles into nearby Nocona and the surrounding towns, you can spend a day viewing all the attractions that they offer.
Our Final Thoughts
The RiverStar Casino is another smaller casino operated by the Chickasaw Nation. However, it has more than enough slot machines for you to have a good time if you’re traveling through the area to some of the larger regions, mainly those just south of the border in Texas.
Besides the electronic gaming, RiverStar has just enough to get by with its selection of table games, along with a decent food and drink option. You won’t find any accommodations nearby, but if you venture about 25 minutes from the facility, you will find a plethora of hotels and area attractions.
Have you visited RiverStar Casino? If so, tell us about your experience in the comments. We are looking forward to reading your stories at yet another well-known casino in the Chickasaw Nation.
